You are probably out of luck for that domain name. I had the same thing
happen... My domain company never notified me that it was about to
expire. When I tried to lean on them they just blew me off. The people
who bought it wouldn't give it back... I just changed my domain to
Donovans-Brain.net.
Check and see if you can use a dash(-) or .net, .org, .tv one of those
should be available. Just register for a long term next time, and use a
good company like Gandi... they always notify me...
It might take a while for you to build your traffic back up. If you have
a good site and a good site host, you should be able to sort it out. It
takes a while for the web crawlers to find you and rank you, but how
many milkshakejones can there be?
