I saw the Hoodoo Gurus at the Pop Culture Press SXSW party in Austin last week.  For that appearance, they played only material from their debut album, and they sounded absolutely terrific!  I was in heaven.  There were raves all around.
   
  I didn't make it to their showcase gig, unfortunately, because I wanted to make sure I saw You Am I and Sloan as well.  I do hope they come back around so I can see them again.
