First of all, I wouldn't give the Pitchfork review any credence. The review reads like a slightly tipsy guy jawing to someone at a bar. The reviewer never really makes a case for Traffic and Weather being a bad album. Other than one specific song mention, he doesn't give specific examples of where the album goes wrong. It sounds like he has it in for FOW more than anything else.

Now I've not heard the album yet, and "Someone to Love" doesn't really hook me, to be honest, but I'll reserve my opinion for next Tuesday. I look forward to good things.

Meanwhile, the Lewis Taylor album from eMusic is aces. Pure aces. The new Silver Sun races to the finish line with rich harmonies, a good thing. And the new Graham Parked is killer.
