Midlake's first album did nothing for me so I approached "Occupanther" with caution... but it was getting comparisons with the right people -from- the right people so I gave it a shot. It's definitely a grower. I liked it from the start, but with each pass it snowballed into one of my favorite albums from last year. I was excited about their coming to Portland Or. w/Keane, but the show was cancelled... been keeping an eye out for them coming back ever since...
