I know I'm not the only Ian fan here...Shrunken Heads features Andy York
(Ian's bandleader for the past few years), Steve Holley, Graham Maby (!!),
James Mastro, Jeff Tweedy and others. Wow! Great soulful stuff, tremendous
band, production is aces, and the lyrics (for the most part) are compelling.
Between this and Rant (5-6 years ago?) he is making some of the best music
of his career. Yep Roc strikes again - they are truly building an incredible
roster.
And with new albums from the Detroit Cobras and Graham Parker coming
soon...plus the already-out Mary Weiss/Reigning Sound, You Am I...2007 looks
sweet already.
