No...instead of a lawsuit Lennon recorded the "Rock And Roll" album material
for Chuck Berry's manager's record label Adam VII...or something to that
effect (which in itself had a long, drawn out legal battle before getting
officially released on Capitol....which was Lennon's label at the time).
