I think these lists fall into two categories - bland/obvious/cheesy and
purposely obtuse/smarmy...the goal of each is to promote conversation and
(now because of the internet) create traffic. I think unless you are a total
corporate sheep who knows nothing past populist radio, you'll agree with a
large chunk, scoff at others and have a list of glaring omissions.
If my feeble brain recalls correctly, auditeers made a few attempts at
coming up with something similar...no wait, maybe that was me and a circle
of friends...wait, do i work for Spin?....
