Hey,
I wouldn't have known a Celine Dion song if it fell on my head, but I was in Vegas around Christmas '05 and tickets were available to her long-running show, so I tried her out. It was an opulent theater, one to rival the Metropolitan Opera House, and the production and choreography was equal to anything on Broadway. So I would give it a thumbs up.
As for Celine, she's a pretty good dancer. She stopped to show to mention it was the one year anniversary of her father's death, how much she loved us, and to say how important the audience was to her. It was kind of eerie, as if she had no REAL friends to confide in.
Oh, the music? Well, I liked "Drove All Night", but forgot the rest. I think she must have sang a few other songs, can't remember.
See ya,
Sherman
