Michael....to sound like the Band you need to play juke-joint 1950's
Catskill southern reels with Acadian tinged rockabilly classics on Canadian
stages in urban centres for a minimum of 4 sets a night, seven days a week
in the snow, sleet and humidity while bashing away on beaten down pawn-store
purchased instruments and being berated at every turn by a transplanted
Alabama ring-leader/MC/frontman who would as soon sell the gear you were
playing to buy broads and cars than give you a dime for sweating blood
during your fifth encore.
Or...you could buy all of Blue Rodeo's albums and learn from them :-)
