Yeah, I can't say I understand the rational behind this.
While the Jam were the sum of their parts, Weller was the
part that drove the band mainly.
Not to kick start and old thread, but Stewart Copeland
and Andy Summers touring as the Police w/o Sting would
seem just as strange.
