Okay..."talented singer"? Give me a break!
Her accent is a put on, she was raised rather fancy
and has lived in several different countries. She's
NOT true Cockney by any stretch.
If her performance on Saturday Night Live is any
indication, she can't actually "sing" at all, and she
tottered around on heels like a 5 year old. No stage
presence at all.
This is a flash in the pan, if ever there was one.
I don't usually get too negative on here, but it's
frustrating when I don't "get" something that everyone
seems to rave about.
Only time will tell...
