Or, conversely, the stupidest music-to-product match-up I've ever seen/heard
on TV. Some dimbulb marketing for Wendy's Hamburgers thought it would be
nifty-neato to attach The Violent Femmes' "Blister In The Sun" to their new
chili and potato campaign. Probably cause the title of the tune suggests
something that's "hot".
The song's about masturbation. Why not just inject "I Touch Myself" by the
Divinyls or "She Bop" by Cyndi Lauper?
