Don't know where you get your information, but I met Gene in the 'Letters' section of a comic book fanzine when we were only 12. He knew his stuff and was very passionate about comics.
Years later, I went to every Montreal KISS show and stood either onstage or just off, and they NEVER hit a bad note and always delivered a top notch performance. I also spent time with Gene at one of his relative's houses in Toronto, and he was always, nice, charming, interesting, and totally in touch with KISS's place in the greater picture.
So you don't like KISS, that's fine...but please don't make value judgements of the members unless you can back it up with something more substantial than gossip...and yes, Sting is a VERY nice guy, again, that's based on personal experience, not something I 'heard' somewhere...

Bizzarre to read respectful comments about Gene Simmons who is mostly known for his greed, who dresses like a clown, cannot play his instrument for shit, is totally self absorbed and arrogant... and on the same list the status quo has nothing but vile for Sting who is guilty of some, but not all of those flaws. Sting, unlike Gene Simmons has written some great music in his day.

Someone here earlier laughed at the concept of "guilty pleasures" among a group that will discuss the musical qualities of the Archies in a respectful way... kind of a similar thing going on here....

Kiss must die.
