 Some might argue they were never "musicians", but.... I haven't listend
to a KISS album in years. I was a card carrying member of the KISS army,
just havent thought to pull the music out, but this thread might just 
move me. 
 As for the commercial aspect, I happened to catch a few minutes
of The Simmons Family Reality show FAMILY JEWELS. Gene is an egoist
to the max, but the best part of the show was when he took the cameras
into this huge room that Gene claimed contained one of every item they
ever licensed the Kiss name or Images too. It was pretty amazing. Of 
course it turned into a commercial for everything KISS but it was still
interesting to see how money can make you put your face on anything including
condoms, topilet paper and a toilet seat. 
 Some might say that says alot about their music, but......
