I am proofing a book about Long John Baldry and I'm having trouble sourcing
the British television network who originally broadcast the Beatles TV
special, Around The Beatles, which was produced by a company called
Associated Rediffusion.
I had assumed that the BBC had shown it, but now I hear from one source
that it was ITV while yet another tells me they think it was Granada
Television. Can someone verify which it was, and perhaps point me to a
credible web or book source so I can close the matter?
Also, I'd love to hear from Auditeers who have publishable photographs of
Long John Baldry with Steampacket, or with Elton John, or frankly any great
photos of Baldry at any time with anyone!! Jpegs please, and it would be
ideal if you could tell me where I would go to get the reprint clearances
for each shot.
