I read 'Moon' a few years ago and loved it all the way through. Tough to look away from a train wreck. Lots of foolish hedonism, but that's what he was all about, sadly. 

I think Fletcher offered some proof (or a hypothesis, anyway) that Moon was basically an undiagnosed sufferer of bi-polar disorder. Poor bastard. Just another waste. 

What I enjoyed the most were the quotes from people like Peter Cook, brilliant British comedians, who said that in terms of timing, quickness of mind and true humor (particularly when dropping an insulting Witticism), Moon was there equal. Watch Kids Are Alright and you can see that.
