passed now. The average show has to squeeze in so many commercials that
there just isn't space for 'em anymore.>
Yeah, probably well out of the golden age, but there's still some good
ones out there.
Speaking of oldies, who wrote the Mary Tyler Moore theme? That was a
goodun. Anyone ever hear Joan Jett's power pop version from her
greatest hits CD?
And speaking of power pop, seems like TV is a good outlet for the genre
these days... well, ever since the Friends theme if not before? One of
my fave shows, The Office, has a kinda power pop instrumental for a
theme... Then there's one of my other fave shows, Lost, which is
interesting for its lack of a musical theme - just a single sound
effect. Pretty cool.
