HAD to get out of the house tonight after being quasi-housebound with the
snow, so we headed out to see Music and Lyrics, with the only thing to recommend
it being music by Adam Schlesinger.
Thought I would save all of you auditeers some well earned cash and time by
letting you know the things you would have been there to hear. The storyline
and stars were really weak, very cardboard.
In the intro credits they do list Music by Adam S. in nice big letters, that
was cool.
The video from the band "POP" that Huge Grant was supposed to be in was kinda
amusing
Edge of the Ocean by Ivy can be heard behind the scenes in the weight loss
clinic
Radiation Vibe/ FOW can be heard almost in it's entirety during the record
store scene (nice to see A.S. was able to throw a bone thataway)
The singing voice in some of the Hugh Grant scenes sounded familiar to me and
sure enough was Martin ABC Fry.
Not all of the songs were by A.S. but most of the memorable ones.
See! I just saved yas $20!
