On any given day, my favorite song of all-time might be "Sleepwalk" by
Santo & Johnny. About as beautiful of a melody as you can get.

I haven't been reading this thread too closely, and this one probably
has been mentioned before, but I still swoon over "Love is Blue" by Paul
Mauriat and His Orchestra. A great, romantic record I used to hear in
bowling alleys during league play (what this has to do with my scoring I
don't know).

A instrumental thread isn't worth its salt without a dab of Percy Faith
and Bert Kaempfert. I won't, however, recommend anything by Ronnie
Aldrich and his Two Pianos. Not my cup of ivories.

do you know if one can still get that record?! I've got a Tony Hatch
Orchestra CD that I bought that is all instrumentals, I got it because
of his association with Pet/ula Clark, but have since enjoyed the
orchestral arrangments of pop tunes.
