In February Johan will make a trip to New York, USA. See them at Rebel on
February 15th (supporting the Mooney Suzuki) and on Friday February the 16th

I may have used this an excuse for a NYC weekend trip if I had found out
sooner. Instead I'm likely to see the Corner Laughers in SF saturday night.

I caught the opening night of The Broken West's first national tour last
week. They were excellent, but it was a short show (about 45 minutes).
Maybe because it was Monday night? The tour dates are on their myspace
page.

Of Montreal was good, too. The new material is decidedly less poppy than
the previous 2 albums.
I saw Pete Yorn and Aqualung last night at the Fillmore. It was my first
time seeing Pete live, and thought he was great. I did not expect his voice
to sound so good live.
