I haven't been reading this thread too closely, and this one probably has been mentioned before, but I still swoon over "Love is Blue" by Paul Mauriat and His Orchestra. A great, romantic record I used to hear in bowling alleys during league play (what this has to do with my scoring I don't know).
A instrumental thread isn't worth its salt without a dab of Percy Faith and Bert Kaempfert. I won't, however, recommend anything by Ronnie Aldrich and his Two Pianos. Not my cup of ivories.
