Nope, neither of those.  This was a tune with a chorus by a girl 
pleading / singing, "Daddy, please don't, it wasn't his fault, he 
means so much to me.  Daddy, please don't, we're gonna get married, 
just you wait and see..."  It was really over the top melodrama, and I 
always hated that song cause the father's voice/character (in that 
song) reminded me of the nasty Oliver Reed character in the 
movie "Tommy."  It took my years to forgive my grandparents for taking 
me and my brother (ages 10 and 8) to see that flick, which they heard 
was a contemporary musical film that they thought we would enjoy.  We 
left very shortly after the Acid Queen sequence!
