Subject Songs that fit well together

I was playing "Vertigogo" by Frisbie today and wondered why it strongly 
reminded me of another song ... it took abitof head scratching, but 
eventually I realised the other song was "Your Precious Touch" by The 
Innocents.  Play them back to back and see what I mean.  They'd fit 
together perfectly in a Power-Pop discotheque!
