Are they actually touring, or just doing the Grammys?

<<<On to the Police reforming. I remember some posts from a while back
that
slammed the Police, so I know that this topic has legs. I gotta tell
you... I'm totally psyched to see them live. I was such a huge Police
fan as a kid, and I still would love Splitsville to make an album that
emulates the feel of a Ghost in the Machine or Synchronicity. Now,
please.. flame on!!!>>>
I don't recall the posts that slammed the Police - but I have to admit I
am a bit surprised. I thought the Police were a great, groundbreaking
band - and that goes for all members, Sting included. It's only when
Sting went solo that I quickly grew very tired of his Stingness. I saw
the Police live on their Synchronicity tour - the band sounded great,
worked the crowd, and were showcasing some really exciting material,
IMO. I had a seat in the civic arena 5 rows back front and center, and
I spent the whole show standing on my chair because I was surrounded by
early teenage girls standing on their chairs, screaming their lungs out
the entire show. It was probably the closest I ever came to
experiencing a Beatlemania like experience first hand. Fortunately, the
PA was much better and louder than what I would imagine the fab four had
back in the Shea stadium days!
