I agree....the show is outstanding! I've seen them 3
times in the last 3 years! The songs will send chills
up and down your spine. Even "Hold Your Head Up",
although not a Zombies tune, was amazing! Blunstone's
voice is as great as ever! I was at the Mike Smith
Benefit show at BB Kings in NY in Aug of 05 when the
Zombies arrived 2 hours late for the first show
because of a plane crash on the runway in Canada that
caused David Letterman to charter a private jet to
pick them up and wisk them to NY. The second show
(the one I was at) let out around 4 a.m. in the
morning. Despite the trevails, The Zombies just
KILLED that night!
Supposedly, that show is going to be released on DVD
at some point to further benefit Mike Smith. Mike has
seen a rough copy and loved it. Don't know what is
taking so long to release it, but I am certainly
looking forward to that!
