"We do a weekly feature on Bullz-Eye called Mix Disc Monday, and I'm
putting
together one where the song titles are the names of musicians.and just
the
names of musicians. Setting aside the Wesley Willis discography, can
anyone
help me out with ideas beyond these.?"
Some more that haven't been mentioned, a couple of which are obvious and
three of which have the distinction of having the same artists and song
titles:
"Bo Diddley" - Bo Diddley
"John, Paul, George and Ringo" - The Bulldogs
"Mr. Sebastian" - The Distant Cousins (that's John Sebastian they're
referring to, btw, and a great song!)
"Van Dyke Parks" - Van Dyke Parks
"Spanky and Our Gang" - Margo Guryan
"P.F. Sloan" - The Association
"Bad Company" - Bad Company
