"Travels With My Amp" by Greg Godovitz (Fludd, Goddo, Carpet Frogs/Anger Brothers)....extremely highly recommended. It will obviously have more appeal to those that lived through or are aware of the 70's/80's Canadian rock scene, but you don't have to be Canadian to enjoy it.
Jaimie, is Greg working on a sequel?

May I recommend autobiography A Dysfunctional Success - The Wreckless Eric Manual by Eric Goulden? It offers great insight into the early days of the UK punk/new wave scene and the rise of Stiff Records.

Hi folks,
I've just finished Jacob Slichter's excellent tome "So You
Wanna Be A Rock & Roll Star" (big thanks to whoever mentioned it on the
list!) and aim to get the Jeff Murphy book too. Any other lesser known books
that might appeal to me and others on this list? Just getting my summer
holiday books ready...
Thanks in advance, Brian
PS. I've heard the Mika album and for me it only has a couple of good
tracks - maybe it'll grow on me though
