Again speaking of De Rogatis, his Lester Bangs bio "Let It Blurt" is an excellent read.

Don't know if this was mentioned before, but Ian McDonald's 'Revolution In The Head' has been my favorite of the last several years.
(I'm pretty sure it's been discussed on this board- people were unhappy that he seemed a bit critical of George)

Mark Ian Wilkerson's recent bio of PT, "Townshend" was also very good
