Although I find the books hit and miss, Continuum's 33 1/3 series has been keeping me busy lately.

Although one of my favorites, Joe Pernice's Meat is Murder, really wasn't about the album.
Other ones I've enjoyed are the books on Low, Sign O' the Times, Exile on Main St and Village Green.

My least favorite, by far, was Forever Changes.

Hi folks,
I've just finished Jacob Slichter's excellent tome "So You
Wanna Be A Rock & Roll Star" (big thanks to whoever mentioned it on the
list!) and aim to get the Jeff Murphy book too. Any other lesser known books
that might appeal to me and others on this list? Just getting my summer
holiday books ready...

Thanks in advance, Brian

PS. I've heard the Mika album and for me it only has a couple of good
tracks - maybe it'll grow on me though
