NPR's Morning Edition had a story today about the use of classic rock in commercials, and one factoid in particular stood out to me:

Randy Bachman says he made more money in 2006 (with "Takin' Care Of Business" in all those Office Depot ads) than he did in the entirety of the 1970s with Bachman Turner Overdrive!
