Subject "Music & Lyrics" movie

I've seen the trailer for this upcoming Hugh Grant/Drew Barrymore romantic comedy --in which Hugh plays a former Wham/Duran Duran-style 80s pop star-- and I was amused/impressed at his "band's" songs, which sounded pretty spot-on for era and genre.

I checked IMDB for the "Original Music By" credits, and lo and behold, these songs are the work of Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne and Ivy.

I was going to see the movie anyway, but this clinches it. Schlesinger is among the very best pop composers of his generation, and I expect to enjoy his 80s retro stuff as much as I did his 60s retro in "That Thing You Do."
