Except the English version is sung phonetically and lacks the poetry of the 
German syntax.

BTW - The English words were translated by Canada's Lisa Dalbello...a wicked 
Kate Bush meets Peter Gabriel anti-mainstream artist (though Heart chose to 
cover her "Black On Black" a few albums ago). And in the same vein, 
bassist/vocalist David Lodge from 1970s pop act Major Hoople's Boarding 
House wrote the English translation of Peter Schilling's "Major Tom" and 
several other tracks on Schilling's English language debut "Error In The 
System".
