Amen. I am a huge fan of Edwyn Collins and his Orange Juice.I am old enough
to say I was around when OJ first hit and they were an amazing addition to
the music scene. He was barely 20,with a changing voice that cracked at some
high notes. But his music was to define an entire scene.along with the "boy
wonder" Roddy Frame and his Aztec Camera.I read NME at the time and there
are articles confirming the buzz on this young Scotland sound.Edwyn is still
recording now ,in fact he is working on new material at the moment after a
major illness that almost killed him.And Roddy released one of last year's
very best albums."Western Skies",which made my top 10.
