I agree part of the fun is admitting you have a few guilty pangs about the
music, but listen to it, and admit that you listen to it anyway... Part of
the fun of life is having a little fear or guilt and the courage to overcome
it. Like getting butterflies before a presentation at work, and doing it
anyway.

We had a great time one night at a party doing it, where the audio mix was
Greenday, U2, Bush, Staind, U2, John Cale, Arcade Fire, etc, and when people
started admitting their guilty pleasures we were adding them to the
playlist... Singing Nun, Partridge Family, Banana Splits song, Shawn
Cassidy, Bay City Rollers (that was one of mine - Yesterday's Heroes).

This kind of fun is exactly the reason for the column in the Audities Print
magazine "Guilty Pleasures". It was written by Rick Schadelbauer and
explored lesser known tunes that you might not go to any great lengths to
announce to the world... LOL.

Cheers,
Gary
