GMTA - I was just playing this again yesterday. Only got into them last year
and wound up getting both; the new one is less dance-pop and closer to
straight ahead powerpop. I know a lot of the Glassjaw fans feel he's a
sellout (first for going with the project at all, and then for seemingly
abandoning the sound of the first album), but I think the exact opposite -
he's zooming in on my ears. Go Daryl!
