Someone mentioned it a little while back and someone else replied with a yawn - but not me! I'm a longtime fan and am always interested in what they're up to. Not that I love everything they've done mind you - but this disc has my attention. I added it to a list of things I ordered recently and await it's arrival (Hi Ray).
The Smithereens are playing a show not far from me at a theatre in Sellersville, PA on April 7. I am trying like heck to re-arrange a previous engagement in order to attend: "AN EVENING WITH THE SMITHEREENS" - A BIG NIGHT OUT WITH THE BAND FEATURING ALL THE BIG HITS, DEEP ALBUM CUTS, AN ACOUSTIC MINI-SET, AS WELL AS THE ENTIRE "MEET THE SMITHEREENS!" CD PERFORMED LIVE FROM BEGINNING TO END "ESPECIALLY FOR YOU"!
Looking forward to hearing the disc.
