It was a great show! It was her on piano and vocals plus a guitarist,
bassist and drummer. They literally came out, played the entire album
in order and left -- she actually said goodbye and thanked us for
coming while still playing the coda of the last song! -- but it was a
very satisfying show. She had a habit of getting up and walking to
center stage to do her stage patter between songs. She mentioned at
one point that the last time Metric had played this club, someone had
smashed face-first into one of the pylons on the main floor while they
were dancing, knocking themselves out for a minute. Which was funny
because before her set, my wife and I had been saying "Remember the
last time Metric played here and that guy..."
