I've never read Amplifier (actually i've never heard of it) so forgive
me question, but...

If he offered it to someone else then isn't that like saying "Ok hands
up - who likes this album the most?  You?  Ok great - you can write
the article then."

Isn't that as much of a distortion as changing an article?

p.s. Am I the only person on this list that hasn't written for this magazine?
