If Red Octane (?) play their cards right, they could
have a huge franchise with Guitar Hero. Everyone
bought it this year and now have the controller...So,
the next step is to roll out "The Classic Rock"
version..."The New Wave" version..."The 80's Rock"
version...and hopefully, "The Power Pop" version. I
see other companies are already marketing different
guitars.

BTW - Does anyone know if the creators are from
Boston? If you go to the store to "buy" the bonus
songs, they're all Boston bands - Mostly ones I
haven't heard of other than The Neighborhoods &
Voivod. Does Guitar Hero I feature a different city?

If Best Buy can ever get them in back in stock, I'm
buying one for myself (age 43). Two player is fun as
well. But I think the real success of the game is that
a roomful of people can play 3 to 5 minute songs and
take turns. Finally, a video game that actually is as
much fun to watch as it is to play.
