I recognize it isn't going to happen, but I would nominate:

Cynical Girl - Marshall Crenshaw
Places That Are Gone - Tommy Keene
Million Miles Away - Plimsouls

MC, TK and PC are all excellent players, and these songs really have some 
great riffs.

Honorable mention to Password from Cotton Mather's Kon Tiki.
