We released a Klaatu "Raarities" collection in 2005 on vinyl....first LP on
Bullseye since 1988. The quality is pretty good. And you're right, the
budget vinyl in the late '80s and into the early part of the '90s was
crapola.
Many of the majors are using 180g audiophile vinyl....I believe all the
Dylan re-issues were put out this way.
I'm currently contemplating releasing a new line of 7" singles just to
satisfy the niche collectors out there.
