I'm with Dan, I really like Low Budget and recently ripped the vinyl to
CD. I know this record's been dissed here before over the years and that
got me to wondering why. Any Kinks fans (I'm just a casual fan) got a
quick sentence or two describing why they (or even why most Kinks fans)
don't like it? I'm truly curious.
On a side note, I sure enjoyed the Kinks Christmas Concert on VH1's
"Crown Jewels" program. Ray did the entire show with pie-in-the-face pie
in his hair. It looked like he was playing to a room full or soccer
hooligans (and I mean that in the nicest possible way). That's rock n
roll. ;-)
