STRUGGLING MUSICIANS NEED WAY TO GET NOTICED

Roadblocks to musician's success can be solved by new free web sites

Elon NC. - Jan 10, 2007 - Before wasting money on expensive promotions or
ads, musicians should take a look at new web sites targeted to help them in
these areas. A local web developer and musician thinks he has an answer to
some of the promotional and staff problems musicians face. North Carolina
resident Jose Fandino has developed a web site for musicians called
TheMusicianExchange.com. The site is designed to help musicians collaborate
with each other as well as to publicize their talents and music. The site is
free to musicians.

TheMusicianExchange.com has features that allow musicians to find other
musicians, venues and bands. Members can post their musical resume/Bio and
find other musicians in their area or anywhere by zip code or musical style.
Signing up also allows musicians, venues and clubs to find you or your band
based on location, style of music and other factors. Members can post music
files, blogs and pictures as well as their musical styles, experience and
what recording software they use if any. User forums and classifieds are
also available to members.

"I came up with the idea while searching for other musicians to write with.
I am a musician myself and the only way I knew of to find other musicians
and advertise my musical talents was to look at local music stores and put
up flyers". The site is free for musicians. Members have access to the
features of the site after they sign up.

There are features planned for the near future such as targeting independent
record labels, management and more which will also benefit musicians.

TheMusicianExchange.com is targeted at national and eventually international
musicians. "One of the main goals will be to provide tools and ways for
struggling musicians to find opportunities to advance themselves and their
careers as well as collaborating with a theoretically unlimited number of
musicians"

Mr. Fandino has worked in the North Carolina area in web design and
development since 1997 and has played guitar for over 20. He continues to
record and be involved in the music community.
