>>Isn't "Come Dancing" on State of Confusion? Or just a hits package?

You're right - bad cut and paste as I was assembling my thoughts into a
reply message. It's on SOC as well as the hits packages. MANY hits packages
I always mix up GTPWTW and SOC in my head. Both are great albums..

Even late 80s (UK JIVE and THINK VISUAL) are worthy. Not VGPS or LOLA VS or
FTF or SID, but many great songs and a breath of fresh air in their times.
If the 2cd version of TO THE BONE ever hits eMusic, grab it; it's a
precursor to Ray's STORYTELLER cd and a highlight of the whole
"Unplugged"/"Storyteller" phenomenon.

By the way, Fountains of Wayne does a killer version of "Better Things".

>>yes they do! They don't do much wrong, do they?

Awaiting the day the magic Kinks treasure trove REALLY opens up and all
those pristine concerts and video clips explode in hi-def surround sound
glory, I remain your humble servant,
b

ps - Although I wouldn't trade 40 years of pleasure for anything, I can only
imagine the roller coaster of pur joy for someone who says "Um...I've never
heard The Kinks. Think I'll check them out..."
