As life got in the way, I didn't buy a lot of 2006 releases, but of those I did, here's what I enjoyed the most:
Cloud Eleven - Sweet Happy Life
I swear that Rick Gallego could record the L.A. phone book and make it sound sweeter than Strawberry Wine.
Jon Auer - Songs from the Year of Our Demise
Breaking up is hard to do....but in this case it provides great material.
Josh Rouse - Subtitulo
The guy with the smoothest voice in pop today does it again. A little more laid back than usual, but very enjoyable.
Doug Powell - Four Seasons
An odds and sods collection with Doug's usual clever lyrics and pop senibilities.
