I'd submit the Biz has been selling youth, image T&A and all the rest way
before 1990!
Anyone who's loved indie pop as long as most people on this list know
that...unless you get a fluke hit like "Stacy's Mom", power pop does not
equal mainstream success or acceptance.
In most cases "music, talent, and songs" does not equal mainstream success.
If you're waiting for the world to change in that regard....you're going to
have to wait a long time...or die disappointed.
