Harry and Pete from Scarem have been long-time friends of mine going back to
Harry's days with heavy metal act Blind Vengeance (who were signed to Road
Runner back in 1985). Drummer Creighton Doane released a solo disc with us
two years back -- and has another one coming.
They even flirted with power pop for two albums (1999's "s/t" and 2001's
"Ultra Feel") as RUBBER before resuming their role as Canadian ambassadors
of big hair pop (without the big hair now :-).
We've got the rights to the album in North America...and have a much cheaper
price structure than their Japanese label who released the album before
Xmas.
I'm willing to state right now that anyone who buys the new "Human Nature"
disc from us and DOESN'T like it can return it for a full refund. No
questions asked. I'll even throw in their 2002 album "Weight Of The World"
for FREE just for taking the chance.
