Orange Humble Band had a second album out a few years ago called "Humblin'
Across America." Somewhat different sound than Assorted Cremes, more rootsy
and multi-instrumental; less power-poppy than the Stems/DM3/P76 type sound
of ACs. I'd give it a C+/B-. BTW, I saw Mitch Easter in Philly a couple of
months ago and asked about the possibility of a third OHB record. He told
me that Darryl Mather is apparently involved in television acting (?) and
very busy, but that he (Easter) would definitely be in to it if the call
ever came.
AFAIK, Erik Voeks never had another album.
Although it is not that old (and thus still capable of being followed-up), I
would throw out Lightweight Holiday's s/t release from 2003 as a real gem
with some great Cheap Trick/Sloan/Waking Hours vibes and huge hooks.
