Never even thought of Amy being compared with Joss Stone (yikes!!), and not even Lily Allen that much; though I can see the connection there, they seem to be coming from pretty different places. I like the Lily Allen album, but it's on my list of guilty pleasures, as opposed to the Amy Winehouse, which is in my Not Power Pop Top 10; now why is that??? Hope I'm not buying into marketing that says one is "artistic" and the other a "confection." I'll have to clean out my ears and listen to them back to back...
