Hi Dave,

A Weed file is a WMA file that plays on Windows PCs. You can play them three
times for free, then you are asked to buy the file if you like it. If you do
buy the file, you can burn it to CD.

An additional benefit is that you are encouraged to share your purchased
file with whoever you think may like it. If they like it enough to buy it
you get 20%... This lets people set up turnkey music stores (mine is at
Weedfilegarden.com). More information is at Weedshare.com.

I am a founder of Weed, and a huge Jellyfish/Power Pop fan, so I tracked
down Roger and several other artists in the Jellyfish family and Weedified
their tracks. That's where the Imperial Drag demos came from. (I'm also a
mastering engineer and mastered the tracks from the original DATs...).

I keep my Weed files on a USB key and share them wherever I go...

I'm sure this has been covered before, so pardon my questions, but what
exactly is a "Weed file" and how does one play it? Can you download it
and burn to CDR?

Hi Dave,

If you're lucky enough to be able to play Weed files, the Imperial Drag

demos are here:

http://www.weedshare.com/artistsites/featuredmusic/imperialdrag/ These
sound

more like Jellyfish's third album, and cover a broad spectrum of
styles...

Also, Roger added quite a bit to Umajets -

http://www.weedshare.com/artistsites/featuredmusic/umajets/ also on
Weed.

Solid State Warrior was the first title for "Land of Pure
Imagination"...
